Therapy may have an air of mystery about it. Here some guiding points:
- You may at times not know what to say
- You may cry
- You may laugh
- You may experience emotions that you had long suppressed
- You may find that I gently challenge beliefs you hold about yourself
- You may have insights between sessions which are helpful and noteworthy
- You may experience good and bad days; we work with what comes up for you
Whatever brings you to therapy, you will always be met with compassion and in the safety of an equal, confidential and non-judgmental space. It is in the process of therapy that we recover ourselves and what is true for us.
