I hold a master’s degree in Addiction Psychology and Counselling and am trained in Compassionate Inquiry by Dr. Gabor Mate. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
My therapeutic training and practice have provided me with opportunity to work with the NHS’ IAPT programme, international private healthcare providers and community- based projects. These include provision of psychological services in:
- 1-2-1 sessions
- Groups
- Educational workshops
- Privately held and in residential care
- In person and online
My practice is trauma informed and my continuous professional development has led me to seek out evidence-based teachings from pioneers in the field.
I am a regular delegate at conferences to keep updated with latest research and best practice, such as held by:
- Society of Study for Addiction (SSA)
- New Directions in the Study of Alcohol (NASDAG)
- Wisdom of Trauma Summit
- Compassionate Inquiry Conference
